WHAT TO DO FIRST

Call Nelsen Funeral Home at 1-800-795-8601, or (804) 222-8601, day or night. It is not usually necessary for you to contact an out-of-state funeral home. Doing so invariably results in additional expenses for the family. We can make all the necessary arrangements through agents we work with throughout the country to transport the deceased to an out-of-state funeral home for embalming, preparation, and return to Virginia. All you need to do is to call us. We will need some basic information from you, and we will ask you to call us upon your return to Virginia to set a time for an arrangement conference.
